Discover Your Team Talents

 
  • Discover Your Team Talents is a 4-hour, strengths-based experience offered in-person or virtually. It is designed to help your team become more aware of each other’s talents, how they can better work together, and develop an appreciation of what each person contributes to the team.

    Throughout the program, curated activities and discussions will guide participants through a focus on themselves, a focus on each other, and finally a focus on the team.

    Each participant will receive a custom code to complete the CliftonStrengths assessment in advance of the program. Additionally, each manager will receive a personalized CliftonStrengths for Managers report. You will also receive a custom Team Talent Map designed to showcase the talents of all members of your team.

  • What makes Discover Your Team Talents such a valuable experience is the conversation and insights shared within your team. In order to allow time for those key moments, this program is designed for teams of up to 15 participants. If you have a team larger than 15, let’s chat about how we may be able to design a custom offering.

    The program is offered either fully in-person or virtually. It is not offered as a combined in-person and virtual experience. During our consultation call, we can discuss the right fit for your team.

  • By participating in this program, your team members will develop a fundamental understanding of a strengths-based philosophy. They will grow their awareness of their colleague's talents and how this impacts key elements such as communication, decision-making, prioritization, and more. As a group you will be able to identify team talents and areas of opportunity and development.

Discover Your Team Talents is an eye-opening experience no matter what stage a team is in - whether it’s a team that’s been working together for years, a team that has is newly formed, or a team that has experienced transition in their people. This program does provide an excellent baseline understanding for how to best work with each other and recognize the talents of the people on the team. What is the cost of the program?

Following our initial conversation, I will provide a custom quote for your team based on factors such as location, number of participants, etc. This will include items such as the cost of the program, materials, and assessments. We can also discuss single payment or payment plan options.

I’m planning a retreat for my team - would this be a good fit?

Absolutely. This program is a great kickstart to a team retreat. It allows the team to begin their time together by building a better understanding of each other. This can help foster better communication, collegiality, decision-making, and more for the rest of your retreat. For that reason, I recommend this workshop at the start of your retreat experience.

What is the Team Talent Map?

As part of the program you will receive a custom Team Talent Map that provides an overview of the talents represented in your team. As Gallup studies have learned, when predicting both engagement and performance, a team's awareness of their strengths is more important than the specific composition of those strengths. This map provides you and your team an easy-to-use snapshot of each other’s talents that can be useful in understanding the team overall, but also as an ongoing reminder of the talents of their colleagues.

My team is working remotely, can I still offer this program?

Yes, this program is offered in a virtual option and is just as engaging in an online platform. In fact, I think this type of program is even more crucial for remote teams who can benefit from increased team engagement opportunities and getting to know one another. We will work together to send materials to your team in advance so they are prepared to fully engage in the activities and discussions.

 

What can I do next after this program?

Have you ever had one great workshop and it ends there? It happens so often - we talk about something, people get excited, and then it gets put on the back burner and out of people’s minds.
